This month when I did my research on the latest vacation home sales in Calvert County I found that water view home sales have been steadily rising for the last few months.

Other waterfront home sales in Calvert County have been up and down, walk to beach home  (without views) sales in Calvert County have remained consistent.

After a great December with 13 vacation home sales in Calvert County, January vacation home sales (waterfront, waterview and walk to beach) dipped to only 5. This matches the sales of January 2010.

The market here in Southern maryland seems to have picked up with vacation home inquiries higher than it has been in years. Most are in the beginning stages of buying so we probably won’t see the sales rise until later this year.
