NAR Vacation Home Buyer Study!

Each year NAR comes out with their study on Vacation home buyers. I will be giving some updates on what our market in Southern Maryland looked like last year as far as vacation home sales and reporting to you in the next few weeks in my blog.  The study found sales climbed 7% year-over-year to 502,000. If you own a home that could be considered a vacation property now is a great time to put it on the market because in the study 39% of vacation home buyers say they are somewhat or very likely to buy vacation property within the next two years.

One interesting point in the study is that 71 percent cited rental income potential as a factor in their purchase decision.
